We are proud to show the stunning live performance, crafted by MM Creative Director Jono Hart, of Australian singer/songwriter Starley as she promotes her new single 'Call On Me' on The Today Show - Monday 10th March, 2017.
MM Creative Director ANDY TURNER gets to see the beginnings of months of planning and hard work come to fruition this week with the unveiling of the British Style Collective’s 2017 campaign. Last year The Clothes Show announced that they would be taking their well attended "fashion festival" to the northern heights of Liverpool in a “city-wide takeover” and giving it a brand new name; with multiple events happening at five different iconic Liverpool landmarks. In another stunning collaboration between Andy and MM extended-family Karl Willet - the long running go-to celebrity stylist for The Clothes Show - we are super proud of the resulting look. The campaign, which launched on Tuesday 07 March, shows just what we can all expect of the event in July. Stay tuned for more of Andy's involvement in the lead up to the event in July… Follow Mass Movement on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

HJI Live London, previously known as Salon London, was yet another success with this years event placed in the well-established ExCel London last month. Running alongside the long-established Professional Beauty exhibition, HJ Live London is said to be the "destination for all things creative this February." With the HJ, HJ Men and Fellowship stages presenting the best in British talent, there were educational demonstrations and inspirational seminars running across the whole weekend, including the Wella Coty show that showcased MM Talent Casey-May Connelly, Tia Meddins and Sophie Hind with some wow-factor hairstyles and oodles of colour. Well done girls... Click HERE to see photos from the event.
Well done to professional dancers Ali Temple, Charlotte Habib, Fiona Macdonald and Curtis Angus who performed at this year’s Adidas UK show at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch. The feedback we got from top UK production house Production Team already is fantastic!
Mass Movement talent (#MMFAM) Dani Blair, Jerry-Jane Pears and Sophie Carmen Jones are set to appear in the new Deichmann campaign and it looks like they had a great time at the 'show day' shoot yesterday. #MMFam member Sophie was quoted saying "When you wear @deichmann_schuhe new @elliegoulding range you are immediately THIS HAPPY." Well done girls! The British singer Ellie Goulding is one of the few stars to compose their own songs and also perform perfectly on instruments such as guitar, drums and keyboard. She raced to the top of the charts with her contribution to the soundtrack of the blockbuster "50 Shades of Grey" and has been one of the most successful British solo artists in the past decade. With the Star Collection, her first shoe collection, in association with Europe's largest shoe retailer DEICHMANN, she will also be rocking the shoe world from 1 March 2017. The accompanying campaign was shot in London by celebrity photographer Louie Banks, and styling was the task of Cher Coulter, who has already worked with stars such as Rosie Huntington-Whitley, Kirsten Dunst and Demi Moore. The director of the accompanying TV spot was no less than Emil Nava, famous for his creation of music videos for Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Calvin Harris and Ne-Yo. Joshua Kane caused a stir on the 17th February this year at the London Palladium with a show that lured the audience into his "fantasy world". Laurie Trueman, writer for London-based Men's rock n roll fashion magazine and fellow spectator at the show, said that "it was a pleasure for his guests to step inside of [Joshua Kane's fantasy world]. Closing with the two lovers meeting again, and stepping into a ballet performance that was breathtaking." Who could blame her? We binged on the full show ourselves, which you can see here on Vimeo or on Kane's website here, and let us tell you: all 18 minutes are a triumph; a sensory collision of fashion and theatre completely complemented by the stunning ballet performances from third-year - yes third-year - students of Central School of Ballet. At 11:21 we get to see the sumptuous and effortless choreography characteristically synonymous with MM Show Director, Creative Director and Choreographer Andy Turner as it progresses to a live version of Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. The incredible side note to this was that Andy created the 'breathtaking ballet' in just three hours and with only a day to the show - we honestly don't know how he does it! Andy Turner has worked alongside Joshua Kane consecutively for four years and their creative collaboration seems only to be strengthened with their shared overall vision for the fashion shows that are now known as the ones that deviated from elitism. For 'Journey', Kane's answer to the AW17 catwalk show, Andy worked as choreographer and movement director, helping to actualise the physical portrayal of Kane's work and vision. Mass Movement's very own Choreographer, Gaz Davis, was assistant choreographer to Andy Turner.
MM Creative Director Andy Turner is set to see his latest work thrown open to the fans of British tailor and designer Joshua Kane. In Andy's latest involvement with the tailor, now on their fourth year of collaboration, the designer was reported last night that "Fashion is becoming more and more exclusive and the doors are becoming more closed, so fans can only really end up voyeuring through social media platforms." In a response to this form of closed-door approach Joshua Kane has decided to stage the catwalk show, staged and choreographed by Andy Turner, at the London Palladium with tickets available for all of his fans. Go see Andy's extraordinary fashion work if you can, tonight at 7pm. Read what the Evening Standard had to say: http://bit.ly/2lSxxQf
